Kia is continuing to impress with their latest head turning design launguage and the latest concept the Track’ster has just been unveiled at the Chicago Motor Show. Based on the production model Soul we reckon this concept looks very close to production for a funky 3dr coupe type varient of the Soul.
But it’s not all just about head turning looks as they clearly have performance on the brain with the Track’ster. It’s longer and wider than the production Soul and under the bonnet of the Track’ster concept sits a 2.0 liter turbocharged 250hp engine which routes power via and electroning four wheel drive system.
The rest of the information from Kia is mostly all ‘design speak’, including claim that it ‘resembles a bull dog’. I heard that about the Nissan Cube when it came out as well which proves as I expected that most ‘design-speak’ is made up by press release writers having a laugh. I hope.
We reckon in a couple of years time this could well be gunning for the MINI Cooper S and Fiat Arbarth 500…
